・オリジナルLP-BOX、菅野よう子が新たに再編集したアナログ（３タイトル）（「TANK! Gold」「 The Real Folk Blues Legends」「 Songs for the Cosmic Sofa」）と、海外のみで既発売のNetflix版アナログが初めて全曲収録版としてCD化（「Soundtrack From The Netflix Series」）される。

・「COWBOY BEBOP」シリーズは監督：渡辺信一郎、音楽：菅野よう子の代表作、サウンドトラック第一弾は第13回日本ゴールドディスク大賞「アニメーション・アルバム・オブ・ザ・イヤー」を受賞。

マイルス･デイビス､ジョン･コルトレーン等を手掛けたエンジニア､ルディ・ヴァン・ゲルダーも制作に参加、オープニング･テーマ｢Tank!」はシリーズの代表曲になっている。

シリーズ中にはジャズ、ロックからドラムンベース、フレンチポップスまで音楽ジャンルは広大で、現在でもトップレベルの音楽性を誇っている。
